One of my highlights this year was to experience Westminster Abbey with you for the 200th Anniversary. To my dear brother, who was the light of my life in childhood, as he was 11 years older than me so we got on very well. he gave me away at my wedding as our father had died. Awaiting with excitement the launch of the new boat for Exeter Station with his name on it together with many others.

After 200 years we continue to be humbled by the bravery of the men and women who volunteer on the lifeboats and patrol our beaches and rivers, to keep safe and rescue where needed the people of our island nation.
