Learning safe rescue techniques with partners from three continents

The International team is working with Bangladeshi partners and designers from Uganda and three UK universities to help prevent children under 2 years drowning in rural Bangladesh when they crawl or toddle away from their busy parents and end up in the many waterbodies around homes. The team were in Poole for design workshops and we celebrated with one of our UK partners, Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service, by practicing simple and safe rescue techniques that communities could learn and use.
