Hastings Lifeboat Station hosted a BIG concert to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the RNLI. There was live music, dancing, drumming and shanty singing which drew in a crowd of hundreds. At 18:24 the Hastings crew and shop, fundraising and visits volunteers amassed on stage as 200 maroon-style fireworks were fired into the sky in recognition of the traditional way of summoning the crew, and to mark this historic occasion.
