Today on 1-8-24 at 18:24 the Helvick Head RNLI crew, volunteers, and families gathered at the Helvick Head RNLI lifeboat station in glorious sunshine to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the RNLI. Incredibly, a call came in at 18:20, and the Robert Armstrong was swiftly launched with Alan Kelly at the helm and crew members Shane Walsh, Paidai Breathnach, and Catherine Reeves to attend the incident. The burgers were still hot off the BBQ when they returned shortly after. #RNLI200 #RNLIHELVICK
