Founded in 1824, the RNLI has dedicated two centuries to saving lives at sea. Kilrush RNLI founding members, crew, fundraisers, future crew, and the community gathered together at 18:24 on 1.8.24 as one crew to celebrate ordinary people doing extraordinary things. From its humble beginnings, the RNLI has grown into a vital organisation, with volunteer crews bravely saving lives at sea. We honour the RNLI's incredible legacy as we look forward to the next 200 years of the lifesaving service.
