Vintage 1949 lifeboat tractor T50 out of the shed

Almost 75 years ago the tractor began a new era for the first mechanical lifeboat haulage but before 1949 it was down to the 'Women of Newbiggin' to pull on the rope to get the lifeboat out to sea.
