Roger Cohen MBE, RNLI Brighton lifeboat operations manager, said: ‘There have been volunteers in Brighton for over 150 years to support the call of saving lives at sea. 'Today, we mark the current teams of volunteers -fundraisers, shop staff and crew, with an image taken as close to 1.8.24 as we can. ‘Decades and generations change but the spirit of helping others remains constant.’
