Yvonne & myself paid a visit to the model of 'Jesse Lumb'

Yvonne & myself paid a visit to the model of 'Jesse Lumb' 1939-1980. Built by J. Samuel White of Cowes, She was the last Watson Class lifeboat and after coming out of service she was on display in the Imperial War Museum. RNLB Jesse Lumb was funded by his sister Annie Lumb(£9,000) Jesse Lumb is just one of the 7 lifeboats funded by the people of Huddersfield, 90+ Miles to the nearest Yorkshire Lifeboat Station. Jesse Lumb was saved from being destroyed by Martin Woodward M.B.E.
